Network of the Zambian People living with HIV/AIDS (NZP+) is a national organization for the people living with HIV & AIDS (PLHIV), established in 1996. It aims to improve the quality of PLHIV by pursuing three issues namely: Support, Communication and Representation of the PLHIV. NZP+ is a non-profit and non-governmental organization registered under section 7(I) of the Zambian societies Act.
The logic that is being followed is re-establish one’s self esteem and acceptance in the local community; from there, seeking health improvement and subsequently (re-) gain recognition as valued citizens, stakeholders in the fight against HIV & AIDS, and self determining economically productive members of society.
